We are here
More than 2 centuries ago, Les
Laurons sheltered 7 families which lived of agriculture and breeding on the
surrounding grounds. In time, the houses were abandonned and only the BARTHALAY
family remained in this hamlet who has becomed a simple farm. Recently, a
restoration carried out with the concern of preserving a maximum of existing structure, made it possible to give a comfort to these
ancient houses while preserving their heart. The hamlet offers the serenity of
the countryside of Provence as well as a panorama over the LUBERON mountain of
which the climax is " Mourre Nègre ". A herd of ponies and horses,
drawn up very well for the riding tours are there to make you discover the
thousand and one paths and trails which lead to the Colorado Provençal, to the
Luberon top, but also to all the close villages, such as Saint Martin de
Castillon, Viens, Gignac, Rustrel, Auribeau, Castellet, Saignon. For the boldest,
the horse riding excursions can lead us to Opedette, famous for his gorges,
Simiane la Rotonde or Sainte Croix. 26 horses & ponies are available for our Guests during their stay to Les Laurons.
